Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Code MXM ("we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the Snore Diary iPhone app and this website at snorediary.codemxm.com. Snore Diary is designed to keep sleep audio on your device. By using Snore Diary, you agree to the practices described here.
Snore Diary privacy overview
Snore Diary is a personal sleep sound diary. It records overnight audio only when you start a session, analyzes sounds on your iPhone, and stores diaries and short clips in the app's private on-device storage.
We do not require an account, we do not upload your sleep recordings to our servers, and you can delete individual clips, whole nights, or all Snore Diary data at any time.
Sleep audio and Snore Diary on-device storage
When you start recording, Snore Diary uses the microphone to capture overnight audio on your iPhone. After you stop, Snore Diary uses Apple Sound Analysis on device to estimate snoring, coughing, and talking events and saves short clips around those moments.
Sleep diaries, event labels, notes, tags, and audio clips remain in private storage on your iPhone unless you delete them or remove the app.
- Snore Diary does not upload your recordings or analysis results to Code MXM servers.
- iCloud sync is not enabled in the current version of Snore Diary.
- Deleting a night, event, or all sleep data removes the corresponding local files from your device.
Information Snore Diary does not collect by default
Snore Diary is built to minimize data collection. The app's Apple Privacy Manifest declares no collected data types, tracking is disabled, and third-party analytics or crash reporting SDKs are not active in the current release.
- No account registration or profile is required.
- No advertising identifiers are used for tracking.
- No sleep audio is sent to our servers for analysis or storage.
Purchases and network use in Snore Diary
Core recording and analysis work offline on your iPhone. Snore Diary uses the network only when you choose to purchase, restore, or manage Snore Diary Pro.
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat helps validate subscriptions and one-time purchases. Those providers may process purchase-related identifiers according to their own privacy policies.
